Marshmallow Molecules

Before we can start recognizing balanced or unbalanced chemical equations, we have to be able to recognize how substances are represented by chemical formulas. Today we are building molecules out of marshmallows to represent compounds! This may seem elementary but it's huge part of our chemistry unit that has to be understood for mastery!

Next week we'll be working on balancing chemical equations and will get to create our own glass cleaning solution in a lab! Only one more week until the second six weeks is over.
